YPP River Cruise Success
April 2013
Another successful event held by the YPP in April, 2013 was the River Cruise afloat the vicious waters of the Yarra River. Whilst the weather was not in our favour, the night was one that was enjoyed by all. We had a good turn out with in excess of 80 individuals enjoying the complimentary drinks and music. It was a good warm up to welcome the colder months, with excitement now focused towards our Midyear Drinks, Careers Night and coveted Annual YPP Ball. We look forward to seeing you at our next event.
PIF Charity Sailing Challenge Raffle
March 2013
The YPP recently conducted a raffle giving entrants the chance to win 5 ‘Solo Sailor’ tickets in the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) Charity Sailing Challenge. A Solo Sailor ticket enables one to participate in a day of charity sailing on a sponsored yacht, with each ticket valued at $400. The event will be held on Friday, 22nd March at Royal Brighton Yacht Club, with all money raised going to PIF to help homeless children and at risk youth. Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and made donations. We are pleased to announce Luana Kenny of M3 Property was the lucky winner of the raffle. Congratulations Luana.
2013 Welcome from the YPP
February 2013
Towards the end of 2012 the YPP said farewell to a number of longstanding committee members who we thank for their devotion and hard work to bring Young Property Professionals the space to network over the past few years. In particular, we thank Ben Shortal for his efforts throughout his time as President. Consequently, this gave rise to the appointment of a new President, Ric Maydom, together with a new Vice President, Tim McBain. The YPP kicked off 2013 with their first event – Barefoot Bowling – at the Richmond Union Bowling Club. The night was attended by some 40 guests who were treated to balmy weather on the green with a few games of lawn bowls, a BBQ and bar tab. The night was well received by all attendees. The YPP will be hosting their annual River Cruise event in April. Keep an eye out on the website for further details.
